The size of the room is ok, the location of the hotel is very good, you can walk to Fira. The bus stop is near the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bathroom was old and small with no water pressure which was frustrating. The swimming pool is not clean.

The Ban staff are excellent, all staff are friendly, the location is in the center of everything, and the hotel is clean

The air conditioner was hard to figure out and was as loud as the bathroom fan. Bathing is very suspicious. Breakfast was average.

The staff are excellent. The room, while clean, was borderline. Furnishings are old - shower facilities are inadequate. The swimming pool is temporarily closed. Good breakfast.

It's not a practical place to stay and the lady at the front desk was very rude when talking to her. Please do not look at the pictures. when they cheat. I would not recommend this hotel to families. The shower is so small you can't shower fully.

Overall it's pretty nice, friendly desk and clean room. I stayed 2 nights. A bit out of town, but still cheaper than other places.

The swimming pool is great. The location is quiet, but loud people coming home at night might disturb the place. The shower is also a bit awkward to use without flooding the bathroom.

I love this place! The bus stops for everything are there and it's centrally located. The staff have always been very helpful, pleasant and happy. Even though the check out time was 11:00am, my flight didn't leave until midnight and they let me hang out there all day and use their facilities. The breakfast buffet is great and plentiful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The pool is relaxing and clean. If I come back, I will definitely stay there again!

Centrally located with a bus stop right outside to reach all of Santorini in 30 minutes. The pool is great and there are local restaurants/supermarkets/cafes nearby. Staff are generally professional and able to provide help and advice.

The location is very good, 2 minutes drive from fira and 30 minutes drive from oia. But i think the hotel expedia charged us a lot because the hotel reception and friendly staff were nice but the hotel itself was not happy with the amount i paid, the shower curtain stuck to my skin when we showered. Even if they give me a big room because I have a kid. But I'm still not happy with the blanket, it's probably been years. Itchy skin after going to bed every night. And the pool my daughter was excited about was also closed, maybe they told me they were closing the pool for the season. I think they open it in the summer. Overall I would probably give it a 2.5/5.

Nice, clean and friendly hotel. Located in the center of the island. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Fira, but the bike/ATV rental is just across the street.

We chose Albatross because of the price and central location. For a budget stay it was fantastic, the breakfast was minimal with not much choice but everything we needed. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable enough for a couple of days.

Good service, friendly staff and convenient location. I was able to store my luggage at the hotel after check out and before leaving the island. The hotel is also very close to the bus station, which is very convenient.

The reception staff are very kind and friendly. The room was very comfortable. But the only regret is that the breakfast time is very limited, and the breakfast area is very small, so there is no way to have breakfast when there are many guests.

Our hotel room was large with a spacious bathroom and balcony. Towels are changed daily. The only complaint was the bathroom in our room. The shower was a bit cramped and uncomfortable as it had a curtain so it inevitably wets the floor every time you use it. The shower phone was also broken but was quickly replaced during the day. The pool is clean and well equipped. Breakfast is basic (sweet/salty) without much pretense and the waitresses are friendly and always at your service, like all hotel staff. recommend!

We stayed for a week in this comfortable, clean hotel, in a great location, within easy reach of the center of Fira (even on foot). Breakfast was also very good with a variety of sweet and savory options. Excellent value for money.

Nice place, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel from where you can go to Fira and different beaches (Kamari, Perissa, etc.). About a 10-15 minute walk to Fira. The rooms are nice and so is the service. Breakfast is simple but good.

The quality of buffet breakfast is ok compared to other hotels. Unlike other hotels, we had to pay for pool towels.

My fiancee and I were looking for a cheap hotel near the center of Fira and we chose the Albatros Hotel in Karterados as it is an easy 10 minute walk along the main road to the city center which is full of shops and restaurants at night club. There is a motorbike rental service in front of the hotel - good for quad bikes and for those who want to get married using public transport there is a bus stop that will take you in all directions around the island. The staff are always friendly and helpful with your every request for information The rooms are small but everything you need is clean and tidy.

This hotel is very conveniently located near the center of Thira, just a few minutes by transport and the airport. Do a good cleaning often, such as changing towels. I'm glad the room had air conditioning and a fridge. The little terrace from which you can access the pool is beautiful, equally pleasant and relaxing, and well equipped. However, the shower curtain annoyed me because it stuck to me and let water through. The mattress was also very uncomfortable. In addition, the breakfast provided by the hotel is too small, and there are not many varieties. As for the welcome, I must say it was pleasant, although I was expecting some information about the island and also appreciated the Italian. However, during the stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. Last, last but not least complaint: the hotel owners are so disrespectful to their own dogs that they keep leaving them underground to wash them with dry bread and dirty water even in the hottest of conditions. Definitely not a good image for hotel guests, plus it's clearly punishment for those barking animals, so no one cares about it.
